A gorgeous pair of antique Georgian earrings built around clear oval cut rock crystals which have a bright icy sparkle that resembles that of a 4ct diamond.
Rock crystal is a colourless and pure form of Quartz that is said to bring about positive energy and clarity of mind. It was once believed to be a form of solidified ice that could never be thawed due to its bright white sparkle that beautifully mimics light glistening on a frozen lake.
The stones are collet set in closed-back silver mounts and hang from yellow gold hook wires. A striking pair that has been beautifully preserved since the early 19th Century.
